ICS – Hips

WOW is the only way I can describe the tune I’m giving you today. It is absolutely fantastic minimal-techno release that I believe will blow up during the summer. Very jumpy and peaky! The track is called “Hips”, and it comes to us from a young Romanian producer Cristi Murar a.k.a. “ICS”. Make sure you hit up his Myspace and show him some love. Sunday’s Classic Track: Mory Kante – Yeke Yeke (Afro-Acid Remix)

Today, I bring you one of my personal favorites. It is Mory Kante’s Afro-Acid remix of ”Yeke Yeke”, released in 1995. It has a great tribal-like vibe, with soothing vocals that make you want to dance and feel happy no matter where you are. Always a great record to play at a club, it will bring everyone to the dancefloor. Guaranteed!

Brief History Behind ‘Feeling Mnml’

‘Feeling MNML’ was created on April 26, 2008 by its administrator Zoran Dakovic. The idea was to make a blog to promote tracks and reach out to broader audiences worldwide. As time passed by and the blog started getting more recognition globally, Zoran decided to expand the network and start posting wallpapers, live recordings, mixes, conducting interviews with various DJs and affiliating with other bloggers who share the same passion. Even tho minimal and techno are primary targets of blog’s name, Zoran’s passion runs deep in all genres of house music. The main rule is to always encourage readers to support the artists by buying their tracks upon listening to posted mp3s or other audio files.
